Why Folks Donate

In April of 2010 our niece's friend found no alternative to living, and took his own life. Ian Smith-Christmas was 21 years young and a student at The College of William & Mary. Due to his affinity with nature he was involved with the College's Outdoors Club, the Student Environmental Action Coalition and the Botany Club. Ian also had another passion - the violin. He played both Nordic Folk Music and Appalachian Music Ensembles. His life reminds us to enjoy the little things in life, and have as much fun as you can each day. Our donation to the Listening Heart Crisis Center is in honor of Ian. We trust our financial support will allow others in distress have the opportunity to be heard, to seek help and emotional support.
